Therapy that blends spirituality with science; where healing is woven with wholeness.

Port Macquarie & Online

I’m Debbie — a therapist, psychologist & coach who walks with women through life’s hardest seasons.

With over 20 years’ experience and a life shaped by grief, caregiving, and the slow work of healing, I’ve come to believe this:

We don’t need fixing.
We need presence. Witnessing. Soulful support.
That’s what I offer.

This is not clinical, checkbox therapy. It’s trauma-informed, spiritually aware, and deeply human.

Think of me as a life doula — someone who walks with you through the endings, thresholds, and quiet reckonings of life.

I’m not here to analyse you from a distance. I’m here to sit beside you as you slowly come home to yourself.

I offer holistic psychotherapy that honours all of you: your nervous system, your story, your body, and your spirit. My work blends evidence-based psychology with somatic healing, ecopsychology, and ancient wisdom traditions.

The foundation of my work is the Celtic concept of anam cara — soul friendship. A sacred companionship where you are seen without judgment, and held with fierce compassion. This is slow, sacred, integrative work. Not fixing, but reweaving.

Even though I’ve spent years immersed in clinical training, I’ve never felt at home in the medical model. I believe real healing happens through relationship, meaning, embodiment, beauty — and the deep remembering of our belonging to something greater. I trust the body’s wisdom, the nervous system’s language, and the cycles of nature that mirror our own seasons of change.

My work welcomes all of you: your thoughts, feelings, instincts, grief, and spirit.

Not just talking.

Not just tools.

This is soul work.

What I Believe About Healing

Healing isn’t about becoming someone new. It’s about coming home to yourself.

I believe in therapy that’s intuitive, trauma-informed, and soulful. Work that welcomes all of you — your thoughts, your grief, your longings, your spirit. Work that listens deeply, honours your body’s knowing, and helps you reconnect to your natural rhythms.

I believe in this work because I’ve lived it. Therapy has helped me move through grief, burnout, and profound change — not by fixing me, but by guiding me back to myself.

The path isn’t linear. But it can be beautiful. Sacred. A deep remembering of who you are.

Why Wild Psychology?

As a child, I found belonging in nature long before I had words for it — in the swish of tall trees, the salty sting of ocean air, the mystery of the moon and stars. The wild has always felt like home.

That sense of awe and attunement still lives in my practice. Nature taught me how to be with things as they are — beautiful, messy, alive.

Wild Psychology was born from the belief that our inner healing is not separate from the natural world. I’ve studied ecopsychology, permaculture, and somatic trauma work — all of which shape the way I hold space.

The wild can be a mirror, a teacher, a healer. It reminds us that even in decay, beauty and transformation live.

Clinical Training.
Lived Wisdom.
A Heart for Sacred Change.

I’ve spent over two decades supporting people through trauma, loss, identity shifts, and emotional exhaustion. I’ve also walked this road myself — through grief, caregiving, motherhood in a neurodivergent family, and complex personal loss.

That’s why I believe in this work so deeply.
